Things I didn’t know
– lighter pigments have more wax then darker pigments.

– use a really light touch and put more layers on. (So I knew this in theory but didn’t know the sharp tip light touch practice).

– you can use a tea steeper and cotton ball to make a soft cloudy like background.

-keep the tooth of the paper as long as you can. It’ll hold more pigment ( ok I knew that but knowing and doing are different)

– a warm table will melt the wax in the pencils which makes it look more ink like. (I know why not just use ink? I don’t know. Maybe cause you’ve decided you only work in pencil and you don’t like it).
