The thing that usually gets me about steampunk is that most of the time they don’t explain where the steam is coming from. There are few clean… Ish sources of steam. If they’re using coal the process of creating the steam also creates soot. Icky icky soot. Kids were frequently used in the mining and shoveling of the coal. They were actually called coal rakers but the term isn’t widely known. This guy is my corgi coal urchant.
So many sayings talk about the moon. Shoot for the moon if you miss you’ll land amongst the stars. Laso the moon. Man in the moon. Etc…
This little pup has heard them all and he’s gonna see the target up close and personal.
I’d been looking at dancing reference. I found so may cool pics and I just had to do a sketch of this one.

This pup is a sketch I did in prep for @furreality spider webs and flowers are a common theme in sugar skulls so I frequently incorporate them in my sugar skull sketches.

someone online was mentioning drunk badges and I got a hankrin to doodle up a drunk skunk. It’s a rough but fun little sketch.
I like using the strathmore sketch books. This paper is from the 400 series with a fine tooth surface. For those not buying reems of paper the tooth determines how much pencil the paper will hold.
