I have a great visitor to my booth that is a lovely drunk lion who likes vokda and lemon drops are made with vodka. The fact that I haven’t had one is a travisty.
Also, I have very fond memory of my brother at his birthday doing lemon drop shots and his middle name is Leo and Leo’s are lions.
So this piece is for both my furry life and my non furry life. I hope you enjoy.

There is a small story behind the inspiration for this piece. At fur reality in October last year I (with. Lot of help from Bill) set up my first dealers table. I did a fun piece for a great gal in a sketch book. Her honey likes sharks but I didn’t have any so I put sharks on my list of to do’s. It only took 3 months but I got around to it and here is a shark drunkimal. It’ll be in the rotation for prints and bookmarks soon.

You saw my 1st 3D art earlier this week. Now you will see a second based on some very hard working con staff that you see at a lot of conventions. This is a demo piece so you can see how your piece would look.
These three characters are in the library which looks like it might be a crime scene. Can you see whodunnit?
Above is a side view where you can see lots of layers of foam and glue. Each bit was drawn, traced, colored, cut out (with an e-acto) , traced on foam, cut out again, then the layers, and finally everything is fixed to the back board. It’s super fun (I know I’m sick).

I want to make sure to give credit to my husband for this idea. He is always coming up with more work… I mean awesome ideas for me to try out and this was is pretty awesome.
So I drew this piece a while ago but now I’ve broken it down to it components, drawn each one, mounted it to acid free foam board, and mounted it all to one board.
I have found I could put four more layers on this if I had a more complete piece.
It looks like 3D art is something I have to make at home and mail out. Lots of supplies needed to compose one piece.
