As with yesterday, I am still playing with how to draw and paint animation. I think this one more accurately assimilates my tech and the books tech. I hope u agree. I think I may present you with steps next time.
Still using a mechanical pencil with soft pencil lead. Just a heads up, the soft lead messes with mechanical pencil mechanisms but still worth it.
I mostly do cute cuddly little creatures with little extra emotions. They express themselves in their liquor or dessert of choice mostly. So @buried_in_books found a how to draw and paint animation book and I’m playing with it. Most of you know by now that I’m working on xmas gear. So here is my brute moose

this elephant really wants the coffee and I recommend you let him have it. After all, it’s a Monday.
The first 4 attempts at this one went poorly. I applied caffeine to the system and it got better.
It’s done with copic marker, liner, and paint. Same old same old. 🙂
I’m prepping for applying to an art fair in November and figured a small verity of xmas cards. This guy is a nice nutral happy holiday. Or festimas for the rest of us card.
This is done with Copic markers, liners, and paints. You can’t see the glitter copic pen in this pic but it’s there in the snow. Kind of feel odd about using the glitter since I know the shiney comes from bits of glass. Don’t let your kids use this pen. Chewers beware. Luckily once my business manager scans it the pic will be safe for general use.

I always have a bit a fan issue with lighting from the bottom. I think I might do a series where I mimic things from scary movies. See if I can nail the lighting difficulties that come with lighting from the bottom like a tv.
