I posted the line art of this yesterday. Then I transfered it to strathmore Bristol vellum 500 series. It’s my general paper of choice when working with copic markers. Copic markers have such nice deep colors. If you pick three markers with the same first number and the second numbers all about 2 apart it’s an easy way to blend colors and get nice shadows. I used so much g99 to get that color that at one point the marker nib was white again. I never suspected I’d use so much dark green in my life.

I just took the copic beginners certification class. I think it made a positive impact on my use of the markers. It taught me how to buy the markers as well as which ones to pick for specific classes.
