Turkish Cheetah #coffee #anthropomorphic

I have a dear friend that I work with at conventions and evrrytime I see him he whips up the best Turkish coffee (okay, truth I’ve never had it anywhere else). Gabe even whips up no sugar versions for me now that I’m working hard on (I don’t want to say losing weight cause it’s not about thin and all about not dying) being healthier.

So, I’m kind of on a coffee kick lately and I wanted to highlight the coffee that we in the ops office like so much.

Why a cheetah? You might ask. There is usually a reason for the pairing. Cheetahs run fast (that should be a duh moment) and we drink coffee for the caffeine so we’ll hopefully reach a speed that resembles human instead of zombie. On top of that there used to be cheetahs in Turkey according to the Internet and when possible I try to put links in like that.

Hint hint – I also happen to know there’s at least one cheetah out there that like coffee. So, bonus.

Foxing bourbon

I realized I was missing a few key animals like a fox with one tail. Cause you know fox frequently have three tails or more. This guy is riding a bourbon glass like he’s on a fox hunt chasing a buzz.

I hope the coloring comes off right when I put all the oranges and reds in.

Two lovebirds that love dessert #dessertimals #lovebirds #shake @copicmarker

This is my latest in the dessertimals series. I hope you enjoy these lovebirds sharing a shake (the most romantic of desserts).

As you see the straws and the birds mimic each other and are on opposite sides to bring the colors across the piece. On top of that the straws are positioned to be reminiscent of a heart without being in your face.

I used copic markers and liners on Bristol Vellum 500 series paper.

Getting his drink on

someone online was mentioning drunk badges and I got a hankrin to doodle up a drunk skunk. It’s a rough but fun little sketch.

I like using the strathmore sketch books. This paper is from the 400 series with a fine tooth surface. For those not buying reems of paper the tooth determines how much pencil the paper will hold.
